Through photography
and digital imaging, it is now possible to preserve
accurate copies of
early manuscripts and to make these copies available
to scholars everywhere. Indeed, technology advances
rapidly, and newer forms of preservation will
enhance our ability to make biblical texts accessible.
In its climate controlled vault,
the ABMC maintains an extensive collection
of ancient and medieval manuscripts.
Archival copies of these images are
stored in Tahoe City, CA. Copies preserved
at the ABMC may be used by visiting
scholars, and most may be circulated
by Interlibrary
Loan.
